So....did you know that if you boil cans of sweetened condensed milk on the stove for a few hours that it becomes this incredibly yummy caramel!?!? Well...did you also know that if you forget to add water to that pot and the water boils out that the cans inside the pot actually have the potential to explode!?!?Note the caramel splattered to the wall and portions of my BROKEN ceiling tiles on the floor!
Yup...learning lessons every day here in the tropics :)
Thought I would share this one with y'all! I think I scared my neighbors into thinking we were about to embark on some sort of takeover. This explosion (and it really was just that) literally sounded like a bomb or a gunshot at the least.
Let's just say I'm still finding caramel splatters in the oddest places and my neighbors still look at me funny :)
